Construction on the new Cardiovascular Surgery Centre is now underway at our Hospital!
If you've been to our Hospital in the past few weeks, you've probably noticed some changes taking place! Northwestern Ontario will soon have its first comprehensive cardiovascular surgery program. This 76,000-square-foot expansion will include:
✅ 14 new cardiovascular surgery inpatient beds
✅ 6 coronary care unit beds
✅ A state-of-the-art surgical suite with C-arm imaging
✅ An expanded ambulatory care/pre-admission clinic
✅ A new vascular lab
✅ Enhanced medical device reprocessing
